WHO CAN ENROLL

All students of the undergraduate professional study of Software Engineering at the University College Algebra can enroll in the specialist graduate professional study of Software Engineering, Computer Game Development  sub-specialization, with favorable financial provisions.

Students at the University College Algebra  from other studies and / or courses, may also enroll in this study program, with more favorable financial provisions, by going through a preparatory program.

Enrollment in the specialist graduate professional study is open for all applicants who have previously completed:

A) A professional study in technical sciences, field of computer engineering, or in humanities, field of informatics, and have achieved 180 ECTS credits.

B) An undergraduate university study in technical sciences, field of computer engineering, or in humanities, field of informatics, and have achieved 180 ECTS credits.

Enrollment is also possible for applicants who have completed:

C) A specialist graduate professional study in technical sciences, natural sciences, or humanities, and have achieved 300 ECTS credits.

D) A graduate university study in technical sciences, natural sciences, or humanities, and have achieved 300 ECTS credits.

Enrollment is conditionally possible for applicants who have completed:

E) A professional study in technical sciences, natural sciences, or humanities, and have achieved 180 ECTS credits.

F) An undergraduate university study in technical sciences, natural sciences, or humanities, and have achieved 180 ECTS credits.

A differential programme will be determined which these candidates will have to complete. The preparatory programme defines the knowledge and skills that will be tested. Applicants who have to complete the preparatory programme by passing the relevant exams can do so at the beginning of the winter semester, before enrolling in the study.

The knowledge obtained in the preparatory programme for the specialist graduate professional study, Computer Game Development sub-specialization are:

  • SQL – basics
  • C# and .NET Framework
  • MVC application development – integration with databases
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • WordPress
  • Introduction into analysis and optimization of a web page.
  • Introduction into responsive web design

The cost of the preparatory programme is not connected with the cost of the study programme and it does not reduce its price.

The transfer of already enrolled students from other specialist graduate professional or graduate university studies will be enabled in accordance with the law and the University College Algebra Statute, and will be based on ECTS credits, i.e. the differential courses that a student must additionally complete will be determined.

For all applicants who have not previously completed a study in technical sciences, field of computer engineering, University College Algebra reserves the right to conduct entrance examinations in order to assess the knowledge required to study successfully.
