The course aims
Through teaching units, teach students how to evaluate various forms of speech, design different types of written communication, present different views and contents, conduct successful team communication as well as basic forms of crisis communication, organize meetings and business negotiations, develop models of intercultural communication and synthesize verbal and non-verbal communication in a meaningful whole.
Content
Efficient business communication as a factor of progress and succes. Mastering team and interpersonal communication, overcoming conflicts, effective meeting management, negotiations (i). Communication challenges in the world of diversity (intercultural communication). Crisis communication. Planning, writing and conclusion of business messages (general overview). Writing routine and positive messages. Writing negative messages. Designing messages for electronic media. Writing persuasive messages (emotional and logical appeals, marketing sales messages). Finding, evaluating and processing information. Planning, writing and completing reports and proposals. Designing visual communications. Developing oral and online presentations, improving presentations with slides and other visual elements. Developing careers and writing resumes, job applications and business interviews.

  2. Evaluate and sort out basic forms for creating: ?messages for electronic media, ?persuasive messages, ?emotional and logical appeals, ?marketing messages, ?methods of finding and processing information, ?reports and proposals, ?resumes and ?design and realization of presentations
  3. Comment particular views on: ?general communication problems, ?verbal and nonverbal communication, ?values of efficient written communication and communication flexibility in various business environments, ?various team environments under pressure from unexpected communication challenges.
