The course aims
Introducing students to the processes , organization and tools to form a stable information and telecommunications infrastructure as a basis for business support through management information system during its complete life cycle.

Introduction; Organization and changes in the organization ; Management information systems , processes in complex business systems ; System development ( life cycle ) ; The analysis , planning and design of the system; Installation and implementation ; Post - implementation ( maintenance ) ; Development of new functionalities ( requirements management ) ; Technical and customer support ; Documentation; Quality Management ; Risk Management ; Software for business support ; Assessment of software packages

  1. To explain the importance of the information system, its various components and business application.
  2. To explain purpose, methods of implementation of Corporate management.
  3. To define the service life phase services, the generic structure of the process, the process model and the role of the management services as defined by ITIL.
  4. To define the elements of planning, finance, human resources and information systems projects.

Preferred learning outcomes

  1. To explain the difference, advantages and disadvantages of functional and integral information systems.
  2. To explain role of different ways of application framework with a focus on CobiT for corporate management.
  3. To explain phases of life services, the generic structure of the process, the process model, the generic roles and RACI model in the management services. To explain life cycle of services by ITIL. To state and explain the dominant processes at certain stages of life cycle services.
  4. To apply elements of planning, finance, human resources and information systems projects.
